Home repairs and Safe & Healthy Homes Kits with our partners at Spectrum

Rebuilding Together Indianapolis is grateful to have once again partnered with Spectrum to help make a positive impact for a senior homeowner by making needed critical repairs to her home.

The home repairs included electrical, HVAC, soffit and facia repairs, exterior painting, gutter and downspout replacement, tree trimming, screen porch repairs and replacement of missing door and window trim, along with overall cleanup. This year, we were also joined by our friends at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Nine officers volunteered their time with us, including, the Chief of Police Bryan Roach. We are grateful for their assistance as we work together on our shared goal of uplifting and rebuilding our communities.

In partnership with Spectrum, we were also able to give away Safe & Healthy Home Kits to our neighbors in need. These kits include critical items for maintaining a safe and healthy home, such as a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, handheld emergency radio, and first aid kit, among other items. These Safe & Healthy Home Kits help us provide a direct and immediate benefit to our local community.
