Rebuilding Together Indianapolis Partners with The Home Depot Foundation

Assisting veterans in the Near Northwest Neighborhood

INDIANAPOLIS – Rebuilding Together Indianapolis (RTI) is partnering with The Home Depot Foundation to serve veterans in the Near Northwest neighborhood. Team Depot, The Home Depot’s associate volunteer force, will provide skilled volunteers, materials and time to help revitalize two veteran homes. The first project will take place April 26-27, 2023. The second project will take place in the fall of 2023.

Kyle Hickman, RTI Executive Director says, "We're grateful for the team at The Home Depot Foundation and their investment in veteran support across the country. Their strategic partnership with Rebuilding Together affiliates like ours provide us with a great opportunity to serve more of the residents here in the Near Northwest neighborhoods."

The Home Depot Foundation is expecting 40-60 Team Depot volunteers to assist with cosmetic updates, carpentry, fence repair, landscaping and exterior work. These updates and repairs will allow for the owners to live in a healthy, happy and safe home.

“Everyone deserves a safe place to call home. We’re proud to partner with Rebuilding Together to make a difference for these veteran homeowners and so many others across the country this spring,” said Adam Goslin, field manager for The Home Depot Foundation. “These improvements will not only make their lives easier in the immediate future but will also allow them to stay and age in their homes.”

Since 2011, The Home Depot Foundation has partnered with more than 10,000 nonprofit organizations, with Team Depot donating nearly 2 million hours of sweat equity to serve veterans, respond to natural disasters and address the immediate needs within its neighborhoods.
