Board Member Profile: Tyler Holman

Rebuilding Together Indianapolis is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to the Board of Directors. The Board provides leadership for carrying out our mission of repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives.

This month we’re featuring: Tyler Holman, Senior Project Manager at North Mechanical Contracting & Service.

How did you get started volunteering for Rebuilding Together Indianapolis? The company that I worked for was a sponsor and asked for volunteers for build day. I started as a volunteer, moved to volunteer coordinator, then house captain. I joined the board back in 2015 and had to step away due to full-time travel for work in 2017.

Why did you want to join the Rebuilding Together Indianapolis Board? Helping and giving to the community is an important part of what I stand for. Rebuilding Together Indianapolis is a great way to do that. I have always loved what the organization has done, and my current position now allows me to be a part of it again.

Please share one of your favorite Rebuilding Together Indianapolis moments. The best moments are the interactions with the homeowners and their gratefulness. Seeing their faces when they see all the work being completed brings joy to any person’s heart. What are two fun facts about yourself?

I am married to my wife, Diane, with two kids Ted (7) and Claire (5). I enjoy both forms of slalom skiing, water, and snow.
