Board Member Profile: John B. Gregg
Rebuilding Together Indianapolis is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to the Board of Directors. The Board provides leadership for carrying out our mission of repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives.
This month we’re featuring: John B. Gregg, Attorney at Ice Miller LLP.
How did you get started volunteering for Rebuilding Together Indianapolis? I got involved after a meeting with Bryan McHugh. Bryan and I met to discuss Rebuilding Together Indianapolis and how my background could be of help to the organization. Over the course of the year, Bryan asked me and Olivia France to join him on the Rebuilding Together Indianapolis Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee.
Why did you want to join the Rebuilding Together Indianapolis Board? I am interested in becoming a board member because I feel like my life and work experiences will bring a different viewpoint to the table to help further the vision and mission of Rebuilding Together Indianapolis. Additionally, I believe the resources I have at my disposal in my current job will be beneficial for the organization and its mission. Further, I am a strong believer in giving back to the community. After spending time researching different organizations in Indianapolis, Rebuilding Together Indianapolis is what I’ve been looking for and would align my goals for my service and my community.
Please share one of your favorite Rebuilding Together Indianapolis moments. Being a member of the Rebuilding Together Indianapolis DEI committee and collaborating with my fellow colleagues on creating a DEI program for the organization.
What are two fun facts about yourself? I have traveled to over 40 countries and I lived in Marseille, France for six months where I studied abroad and traveled Europe.
